With approximately 80 - 100 horses in training and with past champions such as Better Loosen Up, Campaign King and the Australian High Jump record holder 1978 Montevideo either trained or breed here makes the town quiet unique. Race meetings are held throughout the year, with the Berrigan Cup being the biggest.
