to the Barmah Forest, the world's largest stand of red
gums.
Head off early travelling south over the Murray River,
through Strathmerton and towards Nathalia.

Nathalia turn right to Barmah and the Dharnya Centre. Here you can
enjoy displays, group talks and guided walks to immerse yourself in
the history and culture of the Australian Aboriginals, the original
inhabitants of this area.
Continue through southern NSW to
Moama and follow the signs to the Chanter Estate, a historic 1883
church converted to a winery with cellar door sale.
Here you
will find a fascinating Museum of Antique Automobiles, World War I
& II memorabilia, amphibious vehicles, vintage and classic
motorcycles.
Lunch time and we cross over the bridge to
Echuca, where you'll find many choices to tempt your taste buds.
A visit to the Historic Port area is a must.
Take a
stroll around the shops and a ride on a paddle-boat to loose
yourself in a bygone era.
